ELECTROCYN™ soma is an electro-activated super-oxidized water-based solution (EASW) used for wound cleansing, irrigation, and debridement. This advanced wound care solution can be applied to all types of acute and chronic wounds, making it one of the most versatile and safest solutions for wound management.

ELECTROCYN™ soma is manufactured at a safe and effective concentration, has passed biocompatibility testing, is non-irritating, and is ready to use without any dilution. Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) preserves the solution safely by preventing the proliferation of microbes within it.

Hypochlorous acid is a weak acid naturally produced by white blood cells (neutrophils) and is a key component of the immune system. Upon contact with microbes, neutrophils release a burst of microbicidal agents including HOCl, the most powerful oxidizing agent, which breaks down microbial cell walls. ELECTROCYN™ soma contains a safe and optimally pH-stabilized concentration of hypochlorous acid.
